Ronan Leyden

Programme Manager

Ronan joined Bioregional in 2007 and works to champion sustainable outcomes across a wide range of sectors including corporate businesses, new build developments, UK local authority and neighbourhood projects.

Ronan regularly runs interactive workshops and training to introduce and embed sustainability in a wide range of businesses. He has over eight years’ professional post-graduate experience working with a strong focus on energy,   built environment, supporting corporate reporting, design processes, carbon reduction strategies, product reviews, waste minimisation and reuse and carbon footprinting.   Ronan’s most recent work includes projects for Cofely Energy, Siemen’s Crystal, Kingfisher Group, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, B&Q, Skanska and Carillion plc.

Ronan holds an MSc in Design for Sustainability, BSc in Physics and Philosophy and is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and the Institute of Energy. Ronan’s pastimes include growing tomatoes, tinkering with bicycles, and getting into the mountains as much as possible.
