Bioregional Australia focuses on creating One Planet Communities and supporting the development of One Planet Councils.
We apply our expertise in a highly practical way because we want our work to inspire people to live happy, healthy lives with the natural limits of the planet.
Work with us
Sustainable Places
We generate practical and deliverable ideas for sustainable places, and work in partnership to make them happen. We have 20 years’ track record in delivering solutions for better housing, neighbourhoods, and local amenities, working with developers, housing associations and local authorities in a community- and commercially-minded way.
Sustainability Action Plans
We work in partnership with companies and the public sector to co-create sustainability action plans using our One Planet Living framework. An action plan helps to establish a vision for sustainability and identifies practical steps to realise this vision through a series of short and longer term actions and targets.
Training
The One Planet Training Course is the flagship for individuals looking to pick-up the tools and resources to effectively maximise sustainability outcomes as part of their work through the use of One Planet Living, its Assessment Framework and supporting Program.
Implementation support
We apply our practical expertise across a range of areas including, energy, waste, materials and stakeholder and employee engagement to help organisations realise their sustainability ambitions. This includes providing training, workshops, research, analysis and identifying practical solutions and recommendations for implementation.
Innovative Solutions
We combine our entrepreneurial experience, expertise and creativity to create innovative solutions where a fresh approach or business model is required. Our recent innovations have focused on forestry management and timber supply chain and also on localised energy grid and storage solutions.
